An environmental portrait is a picture of a person in his or her natural habitat (or at least one of them). The context is most often work, but could be community projects, hobbies, or recreational activities. The point of the shot is to show who a person is, in context.

Senior Photos can tend to be cookie-cutter-like. I object strongly to this approach. So if you just want a photo of the kid in the team jersey with the guitar, don't call me.
